Charlotte Belmonte
"Keep smiling, and one day life will get tired of upsetting you."She is a ginger, with big hazel green eyes, a face full of freckles and a smile that endures. She’s not as scrawny as she once was. Her body certainly filled out over the years to include womanly curves, and plump in places that would only add to her sense of genuineness. She is 5’5” and about 140lbs. No model mind you, but solidly built with a plain, yet very pretty face. She usually wears her hair pulled back in a loose braid so that it doesn’t end up in someone’s food or face.
Age27
GenderFemale
Rich or Poor?:Middle class - her clothes are far from rags, decent material, very few trinkets/jewelry can be seen on her, save for a simple gold ring hanging on a cord around her neck.
Power Descriptions:There is something about her that just exudes positivity. She doesn’t light up a room necessarily but whenever people are around her, they feel calm and happy. (at least it keeps the customers coming back). Whether it is something supernatural about her or just in the way she carries herself isn’t known.
Skills:She is very good with people, and her voice - like angels in a choir.
Personality:they say the eyes are the window to one's soul. Her eyes may not portray much, but they do let on that she is more than what her smile leaves others to believe. Either way, she does her best to convey a positive attitude and a cheerful disposition. A constant accessory to every outfit and hat she wears is her contagious smile. she is is a bit of an extrovert, bold and strong willed. She simply feels that her problems are nothing compared to the suffering of others. You cannot judge a book by its cover, and she won't pretend to know the lives of each person that sits at her table, so instead of focusing on the bad, she does her best to bring the light out in everyone, and in all situations.
Biography:Charlotte was born into a lower middle class family. Her mother was a seamstress, and her father was a merchant. She was the middle child of three, with an older brother and a younger sister. Her sister died at a tender age of 5, there was a sickness that swept through the town. Being the frail girl she was, she didn't survive past the winter.
At the age of 21, it was arranged for Charlotte to marry into a much wealthier family. But being the vibrant and stubborn child that she was, she wouldn't have it. For months, argument after argument ensued, screaming matches and broken vases - Charlotte wanted to marry for love and no other reason. She wanted to marry the blacksmith's son, Gavin. And that was that.
Wars ravaged the border towns, both Gavin and Charlotte's brother were called to arms. They were married in secret two weeks before he left.
Three years passed by with no word. And the town, the whole world it seemed, moved on. Charlotte's mother was devastated when she learned the news of their elopement, cursing her daughter, explaining that she had ruined any chance of having a better life. And with that, she left.
She spent the next three years traveling, whether it was to find Gavin, or to find herself, she didn't know. She'd pass through the nameless tavern quite often, and when she finally grew tired of her travels, it seemed the best place to settle, at least for the moment. At least until her next adventure swept her off her feet.
